They lived their lives
peacefully
normal humans just like yopu and me
we came along
we sloe their land
we told them shut your eyes and hold my hand
we showed them things they'd never seen
made up stories that would
make them dream
we changed their lives
said we would save
them from their misery but
made them slaves
four hundred years of fighting
gone to waste
give them a little land
to keep them away

we hypnotized them easily
with guns and money
and hypocrisy
they tried to fight

they were caught

we brought our whole new ways
a new religion
a way of living
